Cuddeback CuddeLink Trail Camera
Cuddeback CuddeLink Trail Camera
Every hunting season hunters every where head out to their stomping grounds looking to get that delicious meat to the kitchen table. But have you ever wondered what's going on out there during the off season or in between hunts. This lead me into the world of trail cameras. Being a stickler with money I put it off for a long time even when it comes to those cheap cameras at the store. After much research into what I need out of a camera I came to the Cuddeback CuddeLink Trail cameras.
These cameras link up and create there own network as you might have heard and it's easy to do. Giving you the ability to have several camera locations and only need to check one.
On the pricier end of trail cameras, being a money stickler, I also take my hunting as serious as time and money allows and then some. These cameras link up to 16 cameras with optimal signal being a 1/4 - 1/2 mile apart from each other, not just the home camera that all the image collect to. They funnel over the network to the home camera. I deployed a set of four cameras from the bundlepack which is basically a buy three get one free deal.. This is the way to start your network if you can dish it out.
If your one of those people like me whose favorite hunting property is over an hour away so regular visits is out of the question think about this. If you get one of the Cuddelink Cell Cameras and set it up as your home camera, all images from all cameras sent to your phone. Instead of a data plan for multiple cameras, one cell plan covers all. That is going to be my next purchase for a camera. You can buy just a cell relay for around $200 or make it a cell camera with prices slightly varying based on the model you go for. I'm going for the camera/cell combo if I'm going to take the time to place another device and have it on the network, it might as well take pictures.
The camera that took this last picture was my home camera and did break on me. There was some of the most intense fog I had ever seen. The camera pictures where solid white. I eventually determined this was the only way this camera could have got water damage, it was no where it could possibly end up submerged so this was a bit of a freak accident down in a small bowl area that holds fog a long time. But guess what, with a great product comes great customer service. I got on online with Cuddeback and they had me send in my broken one and they sent me a brand new one with in a week or so. As long as you set the date correctly on your camera you can send in photos from the camera which were safely on the sd card which contain the date the camera first started working. This is how they track the one year warranty on cameras. No need for going the extra mile to buy and track receipts for warranties. Just so you know I'm in no way affiliated or paid by Cuddeback. I have found a product I like and wanted to support them. These cameras will change the way your track, watch and hunt.
